In drones and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS/BAS) a new benchmark has appeared — the Klever 5. It is not just a drone, but a modern platform that combines training, drone control, and real-world drone use cases in business and industry. Bonus: it runs on ROS 2 (Robot Operating System 2).

Today, as queries like drones today, drones in Russia, buy a drone become more popular, solutions appear that cover training, development, and practical use at once.

🧠 What ROS 2 is and how it is used in drones and BAS

ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2) is a platform widely used to build drones, quadcopters, and autonomous systems.

It lets you do more than fly — you can build full solutions:

develop drone control algorithms

integrate cameras, sensors, and the control stack
test scenarios in simulation
work with real-time data

👉 This makes Klever 5 not just a device, but a tool for anyone who wants to understand how drones and BAS work in practice.

With ROS 2, the Klever 5 quadcopter lets you:

• use ready software modules for BAS
• rapidly develop drone control algorithms
• configure sensor, camera, and control-system interaction
• test scenarios in simulation (Gazebo, 2D/3D models)

👉 In practice, this turns the drone into a training and engineering platform for BAS work.

Where the Klever 5 drone is used

Klever 5 is not only an educational drone, but a tool for applied tasks in unmanned aircraft systems.

It supports:

manual quadcopter control
autonomous flights
computer vision
neural networks and data processing

Search and rescue

Klever 5 drones are used to search for people in difficult conditions. A thermal camera helps detect objects where ground search fails.

Inspection and business tasks

It is also suitable for:

building inspection
power-line inspection
facility monitoring

👉 these are the solutions driving demand for queries like
drone-based solutions and automation with drones

🌾 Agriculture

A separate track is using Klever 5 drones in agriculture.

The quadcopter helps:

analyze field conditions
detect issues
monitor processes

🎓 Training and development

Klever 5 is actively used as an educational drone.

It is suitable for:

learning to program
working with LiDAR and cameras
building digital models

👉 this makes it a great tool for anyone starting work with drones and BAS

Drones in education: how BAS enter schools and universities

Today drones and quadcopters are becoming part of education.

What used to be rare is now common:

engineering classes open
drone-control courses appear
BAS programs are introduced

👉 drones help:

learn physics and math in practice
develop engineering thinking
work in teams

How much drone specialists earn

As interest in the topic drones today and drones in Russia grows, so does the job market.

Specialists in:

drone control
BAS development
data analysis

can earn up to 200,000 ₽ and more.

👉 that is why more people look for:

how to start working with drones
how to choose a drone
how to enter the BAS field

Klever 5 quadcopter capabilities

Klever 5 stands out among drones thanks to flexibility and engineering architecture:

• modular design — assemble different drone types
• powerful compute module with AI support
• support for popular firmwares (PX4, Betaflight, INAV, ArduPilot)
• camera and thermal imaging support
• add-on sensors and modules
• quick compute-module replacement

👉 This makes it a universal platform for:

training
development
testing
